Can Yoga be used as a Therapeutic Intervention for Uterine Bleeding?

Dysfunctional uterine bleeding (DUB) is a common gynecological disorder among women of reproductive age. The study included 30 women between the ages of 20 and 40 with primary DUB who were randomly assigned to a yoga group. Prior and following a 3-month follow-up period, hemoglobin levels, endometrial thickness, perceived stress scale etc were measured. Results indicate that yoga therapy is reduces stress, anxiety, and improve sleep quality, in DUB patients.
