Allspice is used in a number of human endeavours, including perfumery, as a food spice, as a natural pesticide, and in folk medicine. Two compounds acquired from allspice, eugenol and gallic acid, have anti-proliferative and anti-tumor properties that works against human and animal cancer cells.
