About Udayaditya Ras

Trivikram Ras  is an Ayurvedic medicine in tablet form, used in treatment of urinary calculi. This medicine contains heavy metal ingredients, hence should only be taken under strict medical supervision. This medicine is most commonly used in north Indian Ayurvedic practice. 

Ingredients of Udayaditya Ras

• Tamra Bhasma – Bhasma prepared from Copper -  Tamra Bhasma  is an Ayurvedic medicine, prepared from Copper. It is used in Ayurvedic formulation to enhance immunity thus helps in various disorders skin diseases,liver diseases,anemia, weight management, hiccup, abdominal distention, acidity etc. This medicine should only be taken strictly under medical supervision.
• Umra Ni Chhal -  It is a natural coolant, undergoes digestion and assimilation very fast, sweet in nature and taste. It improves skin complexion, eye power, digestion power and nourishment. It is used in treatment of cough, cold, Bronchitis, Asthma, Toxic conditions, dyspepsia, gastritis, anorexia. It acts as natural aphrodisiac and anti aging medicine.
• Paro  -  used to boost immune system, to improve strength, in cardiac diseases, colicky abdominal pain, urinary tract related diseases, fistula in ano, inflammatory conditions, tuberculosis, chronic respiratory conditions, asthma, anemia, obesity, non healing wounds, and digestive problems.
• Kuvar No Ras  -  Anti-atherosclerosis, Antacid, Anti-depressant, Anti-inflammatory, Aphrodisiac, Cardio-tonic, Powerful cellular regenerator, Heart tonic, General body tonic, Energy booster, Hematogenic, Hepato-protective, Nervine stimulant, Immunomodulator.
• Suddha Gandhak  -  Purified and processed Sulphur -  It is prepared by processing purified Sulphur in herbal ingredients. Sulphur/Sulfur is known as ‘Gandhak’ in Sanskrit and Hindi due to its strong peculiar rotten-egg like smell. It is a non-metallic element found in nature. There are four varieties of Sulphur viz. red, yellow, white and black. Of these the red and black are not available now. Yellow variety is used for internal use and white is used for topical application.
• Chitrkamul -  It is useful in gastric complaints, skin diseases, eye disorders, bloating, splenomegaly, helminthiasis, obesity, diabetes, vomiting, asthma, bronchitis, herpes, abdominal colic, chronic respiratory disorders, liver disorders, piles, fistula, chronic diseases, emaciation, muscle wasting, dizziness, delusion.
• Vavding  -   It is used in treatment of eye disorders, pthisis, chronic respiratory diseases, cough, cold, bleeding disorders such as nasal bleeding, bleeding hemorrhoids, menorrhagia etc, excessive sweating, night sweating, toxic conditions, painful micturition and leucorrhoea etc.
• Bavchi -   used to boost immune system, to improve strength, in cardiac diseases, colicky abdominal pain, urinary tract related diseases, fistula in ano, inflammatory conditions, tuberculosis, chronic respiratory conditions, asthma, anemia, obesity, non healing wounds, and digestive problems.
• Harde -  used for the treatment of diseases of kidneys, bladder, urinary tract, pancreas, bones, joints, and thyroid gland. It is also recommended in the the management of diabetes, men’s problems, women’s problems and mental disorders
• Amla -  Amla has a lot of medicinal properties and is one of the richest possible natural sources of vitamin C or Ascorbic acid. It also contains many necessary elements for keeping our body healthy and resistant to germs and infections. It gently cleanses and detoxifies the complete digestive system which gets clogged up and constipated because of the eating habits and non fibrous food that is consumed. Amla replenishes and nourishes the tired body, because work and lifestyle of the people nowadays induces undue stress and ultimately the body tires and gives up and the person falls sick. It is useful for preventing hair loss and acidity, which is caused due to mental stress and faulty eating. It also cures indigestion, constipation, and skin ailments such as eczema. It also delays the wrinkling and loosening of the skin, cures pimples and promotes glow on skin. It is also used as food supplement because it has no side effect and the Vitamin C present in amla is easily assimilated by the body. Regular intake of amla powder on an empty stomach in the morning helps to check the toxins of the body. It may dissolve the blockages of heart and make the heart strong. It helps to cure seasonal cold and cough. It also helps to cure persistent respiratory problems such as sore throat and sinusitis. Toxins which can get deposited in the liver by the regular intake of antibiotics, painkillers and alcohol, can be rid of by taking Amla and it also augments the body. It helps to purify/clean the blood. It is also helpful in treating disorders of vision such as Glaucoma, Color Blindness, and Redness in Eyes, Retina Pigmentation, Dry eyes, Night blindness, Double vision and other eye disorders. Wash eyes daily in the morning with amla water to improve the eyesight. It also helps in treating constipation, stomatitis, jaundice, fever, cough, wheezing, cardiac disorders and general weakness. Amla helps to boost protein metabolism; and anyone who works out and exercises regularly will benefit greatly from the regular intake of amla. People who tend to gain weigh easily have poor metabolism but amla enhances their metabolism and helps them to lose weigh faster. Amla is useful in controlling blood sugar level. A teaspoon of a mixture of amla, bitter gourd powder with blue berry in equal quantity taken once or twice a day will help to control diabetes. Any one can consume amla as it is rich in fiber content and low in sugar. Amla is useful for treating hair loss problems; it can be taken internally or can be applied in roots of the hair. It stimulates hair follicles and helps in promoting the growth of hair. It also prevents premature graying of hair and dandruff and that is why Amla is used in commonly available hair care products such as oils and shampoos. It strengthens the central nervous system of our body and heals bleeding gums and it helps to minimize body heat. Amla is one of the herbs which prevents aging and promotes longevity. It has abundant source of Vitamin C containing as much as 30 times of an orange. It helps to rejuvenate all the organs of the body and provides strength. It also helps to keep away all diseases by boosting the immune system. It is also used for urinary problems, headache, dyspepsia, anxiety, diabetes, vomiting and the burning sensation. It is found to have properties that improve memory and intelligence. A paste of the powder can also be applied to the hair and skin as a substitute for soap. The powder can be mixed with honey and applied to mouth ulcers. It pacifies tridosha.  Amla contains gallic acid, phyllemblin, phyllemblic acid, emblicol, ellagic acid, chebulagic acid, glucogallin, corilagin,digalloyl glucose, putranjivin A, emblicanin A and B, punigluconin, pedunculagin and quercetin. It is also a rich source of Ascorbic acid. It helps to fight free radicals (unstable ions which are present in the body). Amla is recognized for its antioxidant, fungicidal, bactericidal, virucidal, anabolic, liver-protective, sweat-reducing, inflammation-reducing, allergy-combatting, spasm-relieving, and blood pressure-lowering properties. By the regular use of Amla one can live a healthy and long life.
• Garmala No Gond  -   It is used in the Ayurvedic treatment of Disease due to Vata Dosha, paralysis, Hemiplegia, Lock jaw, stiffness in lower back, neck rigidity, Stiffness in hands and legs, tremors

• Self medication with this medicine may prove to be dangerous, since it contains heavy metal ingredient.
• Take this medicine in precise dose and for limited period of time, as advised by doctor.
• Over-dosage may cause sever poisonous effect.
• It is best avoided in pregnancy, lactation and in children.
• Keep out of reach and sight of children.
• Store in a dry cool place.
