It has been shown that lifestyle modifications and an increase in physical activity reduce NAFLD. A study using 40 healthy volunteers of the age group 25-50 yrs was done. Surya Namaskar was taught to them and they were monitored before and after three months. Surya Namaskar regular practice restored live functions, reduced fat accumulation, and improved the lifestyle of the study group.
